HOW LONG BEFORE MY PURCHASE IS SHIPPED?
HOW DO I RECEIVE A FIREARM THAT I PURCHASE FROM TWS ONLINE?
All firearms transactions must be completed through a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL)
Dealer. Once you have completed your transaction online or by telephone we will ask for the FFL
dealer in your area where you would like the firearm transferred. We will contact this dealer and
ask him to send us a copy of his FFL license. When we ship the firearm to this dealer we will send
you a tracking number so that you can track the shipping related information for your firearm.
When the dealer receives your firearm you will need to contact them (if they haven’t contact you
already) and make arrangements to pick up your firearm. The dealer my charge you a transfer
fee which is standard in the firearms industry. This fee can range from as low as $10 to $35 or
more. It is a good idea to contact your dealer in advance and inquire into his transfer fee. It may
be best to shop around for a low dealer transfer fee in your area. Once you arrive at your dealer
location you will be required to fill out a Form 4473 which is a BATFE firearm transfer form.
Once completed a background check is initiated which takes only a few minutes (usually less). An
approval number is given to the dealer which is written on the 4473. Then you are on your way.
WHAT IF I DON’T PASS THE BACKGROUND CHECK?
In the event that you do not pass the background check the dealer where your AR-15 product or
other firearm is located will contact us and we will make arrangements to have the firearm
returned. There is a restocking fee of 20% for this type of scenario due to TWS having to pay
shipping, handling, credit card fees and insurance costs along with the re-inspection cost
associated with the return of the firearm.
DOES TWS SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Regrettably, at this time TWS does not ship internationally. Some products both manufactured and
sold by TWS are restricted items and require ITAR licensing to ship. We hope to be able to ship our
products internationally in the near future. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
