DOES TWS HAVE A WARRANTY ON THEIR FIREARMS?
TWS offers a LIFETIME WARRANTY on all the firearms manufactured by TWS. The
warranty is for defects in materials or workmanship and is not for wear and tear. TWS does not offer any warranty on products not manufactured by TWS. Each manufacturer is responsible for honoring its own warranty, although we may assist customers beyond our return period if we have specific arrangements with a particular manufacturer to do so. In most cases, we will provide the customer the means to contact the manufacturer for warranty issues. We will not take items back once our return period has elapsed. In all other cases, the customer is responsible for dealing with the manufacturer on warranty issues.
Products returned before 360 day limited warranty ends rifle and pistol parts – shipping back items to TWS is at the expense of the customer. TWS will cover the cost of repair/replacement as long as it is a “manufacture defect”. TWS will pay shipping to return item to customer.
Returned after 360 day limited warranty ends – repair/replacement costs and shipping costs will be at the expense of the customer. See Returns Policy for proper returns.
WHAT IS THE TWS WARRANTY?
TACTICAL WEAPONS SOLUTIONS (TWS) firearms are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship from the date purchased by the retail purchaser. Firearms purchased by the bona fide retail purchaser and transferred to another purchaser are not warranted. Warranty is subject to TWS Disclaimer Policy. Warranty is void without registration of warranty. Discharging firearms or handling ammunition in areas with poor ventilation may result in exposure to lead which is known to cause birth defects or other serious physical injury. Adequate ventilation is a necessary precaution when handling ammunition or discharging a firearm with lead ammunition. TWS will not be responsible for the results of careless handling, repairs by unauthorized persons, adjustments to firearms, corrosion, neglect or unreasonable or unauthorized use. TWS assumes no responsibility for damage and/or injury in whole or part by handloaded, reloaded, or defective ammunition. TWS assumes no responsibility for incidental or consequential damages relating to economic loss or injury arising out of the use of handloaded, or remanufactured ammunition, negligence, unsafe handling or unauthorized modifications to the firearm. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or inconsequential damages, so the above limitations regarding them may not apply to you.
WHAT ABOUT DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS?
TWS strives to offer the finest quality AR-15 products and accessories. In the event that you have a product that has a defective part or component contact TWS for a Return Authorization (RA) number. All AR-15 products and all TWS firearms are under a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser if in the original configuration in which it was purchased. As the lifetime warranty on TWS firearm products is for the original purchaser it will be necessary to provide proof of purchase for the warranty to be effective. Firearms not covered by the lifetime warranty for the original purchaser will be repaired at $50 per hour plus costs. NOTE: When you buy an AR-15 product from an individual you have no way of knowing if that individual merely bought a lower receiver and put the rest of the weapon together with spare gun parts laying around. That is the main reason TWS requires a copy of the invoice for warranty repairs. TWS does not sell firearms without an invoice. This is one of the reasons that you should never buy a used AR-15 product unless you know the owner of the gun and its history. Buyer beware – if you buy a used firearm and it doesn’t work or breaks, the owner was selling it for a reason.
